Now that the Washington Redskins trademark has been cancelled, can I set up a shop making unlicensed Redskins paraphernalia? I imagine they could still get me on copyright infringment if I copied existing designs, but what if I made new, very subtly different designs?

I ain't touching that one either. Heard about the case this AM on NPR business news. Best guess based on my hearing ONLY is that the TM owner still can hold on2 rites during the appeal process.

The Redskins are appealing the decision, so it doesn't go into effect until after the appeal is done.

Thanks guys. I looked it up and it just means shitty things like Customs won't seize counterfeit products at the border. They'll still have common law trademark rights so no legal bootleg paraphernalia.
