yeah, read the books if you haven't, you can read books 1 through 3 and pretty much not pass the show. that's like 2500 pages alone.
but if you read all the show spoilers it's hard for the show to surprise you. my brother hasn't watched this season, but he'll binge this week and watch them back to back. which means he is losing focus, if not interest, in the show. but he read the book.
breaking bad he couldn't wait and watched each episode as soon as possible. but i still love game of thrones and can't wait to read book 6!
