not really sure who you think is making you do either of those things. thise things are called "voluntary laws" and are really more like suggestions since the penalty for breaking them is basically a stern talking to by a judge and maybe a fine you can ignore.

Forget about Texas. Carry your weapons in2 Mexico right next door to Texas.
No paper work required and Mexico will provide you a nice place to live a 3 meals a day at no expense to you. Not unlimited of course. Just a few years until you have educated yourself well enough to live there on your own at your own expense.

Police at the border entry seized a 12-gauge loaded shotgun, a 5.56-caliber rifle loaded with a 30-round clip and with two additional clips, a .45-caliber loaded pistol, loaded with 10 .45-caliber rounds and with two additional clips from the Marine's pickup truck, according to the officials.
Tahmooressi also carried two boxes of 12-gauge ammunition and 300 rounds for the rifle.
Family members said Tahmooressi got lost near the border after dark and took a wrong turn into Mexico.
