and feel really good when i do it and feel restlessness when i can't pull one
Is it trichotillomania
My understanding is that this is something that usually develops early in life like in childhood but I'm in my twenties and I've been doing this for like a year
Idk

it's just weird and it had never occurred to me that my pulling my nose hairs and the feelings i get from it are kind of atypical like... It's not just pulling hairs. It's more than that when I'm doing it
i now am thinking about how during adolescence it took me a long time to finally accept that i was suffering from depression

it's also weird how these things are approached so clinically

Looked up for you on Google
micro miniature lawn mower
Currently seems not to exist. Which of course means perhaps a new business opportunity.
That is wot you need. Now I am in quest to see how small the smallest reciprocating engine is. A smaller one may be necessary.

For your nose of course. Reciprocating gasoline engine,; Insert perhaps once a week or even daily and you will have problem solved. And take a look at this Engineering miracle -
50,000 RPM - Prior to this breakthrough the smallest Gas powered was a Wankel which is a tad to large and will show you in next pic. As I said a Business opportunity

The prior worlds smallest functional gas powered engine

Too late nose hair trimmers have been around for ages.
This is the 500cc model with self starter and automatic box

uh yeah nose hair trimmers have been around forever and it's not about simply… cutting them
it's the sensation of the hair being pulled this isn't a remotely cosmetic thing

You must have long nose hairs (or very thin fingers) - I can't even reach mine.

Exactly, I refuse to use tweezers or whatever...and I look for the crazy, wiry, really long hairs to pull.

@484,115 (Bobby2Sox !!ztPBX/o0I) Electric? The efficiency of tiny electric motors suck. Nothing exotic or noteworthy about such a trimmer as you show. Probably 100 variations on the market place.
@484,119 (B)
Neither you nor I had a clue how small Gas motors have come. Actually there is a lot more to what such a motor can do besides as worthwhile nose hair trimmer

I hoard my clipped nails. Specially from my feet. Whenever I clip my toenails, I store them somewhere. I like to use the thicker, harder ones to poke myself, I'm don't know why, but it feels good
Syntax replied with this 12 years ago, 10 minutes later, 14 hours after the original post[^][v]#484,126
@484,123 (Bobby2Sox !!ztPBX/o0I) > ..and now they are so small you can drive them up your nose. lol
Of course not, dats just silly - However there is a topic by Cathy on TC Hidden Ocean found in Earth's Mantle
See my reply because in the future it may not be so silly - but NOT in our lifetyme
A Gas powered nose hair clipper is currently possible based on the article I provided.
And for anyone who challenges Gas vs Electric on efficiency? Yes Electric motors can be even more efficient then Gas powered engines. But not when small as found in Hair trimmers. > Just wait till the oil change is due
That is so silly because the Gas for the motor already contains all the necessary oil needed to keep the engine lubed.

I've done that before! I don't have an inclination to it, but I understand the desire.
I prefer to pick my nails instead of clipping them.

Writing for adults often means just increasing the swearing - but find an alternative to swearing and you've probably got a better line.

No, but I do sometimes pull out those little sebaceous filaments from my nose with a pair of tweezers. That is really satisfying, especially when you can grab a big ol' blackhead and pull it out root and all!
