Breaking Bad lives up to the hype for the most part. There are only a few places where the writing is a bit weak (I don't even remember most of them specifically). I hope Breaking Bad has raised the bar on what it means for a show to be 'good'. If you go back and watch something like The Sopranos (one of the best shows of it's time) you'll see how far television has come. I'm pretty excited for Better Call Saul, but I won't watch it until it's over so it'll be awhile...
