The fandom is actually really cool. I had such a wonderful time hanging out with such legitimately cool people. I almost feel like a dick for hating on the community from the outside all those years ago but rather than be emo and waste time trying to write about that kind of bullshit I'm just gonna embrace it all and run with it. that was such a long time ago I barely even remember it.
I've been in a good mood all day since I got back last night. So much awesome crazy stuff. Really an eye opening experience. I'm just not used to being around stuff that makes me that happy. I start treating people around me better. I can't describe it. Go figure.

Oh and each made their own fur gear.

The event is at Balboa Park San Diego - Fully decorated in lights - Free event with everything open - And a huge amount of food and drinks (booze) from say Hungarian or Irish or you name the country their is a permanent building dedicated to such. Huge number of music stages all over the park but the biggest is hosted by the local Cajun-Zydeco club. They include lots of blues and country to please the crowd.
Couple or Three Hundred Thousands come to this event - Evenings are the best and parking which is free can be dicey - Girls probably had no clue about the dancing but damn they sure got in2 it quickly.
