A pretty interesting quiz by MIT. Takes 5 minutes, asks you some questions and tries to recognise your dialect and native language.

Mine were:
> Our top three guesses for your English dialect:
> 1. English (UK)
> 2. Scottish (UK)
> 3. Irish (Southern)

> Our top three guesses for your native (first) language:
> 1. English
> 2. German
> 3. Finnish

Surprisingly accurate

Huh. That's... odd. Guess my dialect differs from the norm. Wonder how that happened?

Okay, I'm back after a long think. (Borrowed the time machine from sK and took a holiday with my wife Anne) Cigarettes and alcohol are hard to come by in future timelines. And really... I smoke like a fish, so this was no vacation. Anyway, I've decided that bombing random Internet surveys with false info is a little silly. If I ran such a site and someone suddenly made 30 surveys from his mom's cable Internet IP, I would probably just dump the data. I'm hoping the people keeping track of such data are aware that they have to deal with the problems of doing surveys on the Internet (which, yeah, I think they are) and account for such issues.

lol, good one comrade 9/9

also apple sanctioned proxies make quality control irrelevant, but this is just one nugget of the knowledge you accrue from eating those colleges.

also eat plenty of meats two, colleges are abnormally low in protein

Sorry to strike a nerve. I wasn't looking for Shakespeare or anything. I would have been happy with a shopping list or an imagined conversation between you and a few mates. Maybe you could read us something you didn't write then? I honestly don't care, I just wanted to hear your dialect sounding like you speak it day-to-day. I'm just curious M8!
