Why do men wear ties?
Men wear ties because Jews sell ties.
Jews have always made fortunes exploiting the vanity of White Europeans.
Jews succeeded in business as merchants for several reasons: connections to other Jews in foreign lands who could supply them with exotic merchandise, undermining their gentile competition by selling for less (and selling on credit for which interest was charged - making the actual cost far higher than if they had paid cash for the same item bought from a gentile merchant) - gentiles were forbidden by the Church from charging interest (it was un-Christian) but Jews were conveniently exempt from this stipulation.
So Jews flourished as merchants in European towns and cities, often eliciting resentment from gentile merchants. Another way the Jews prospered was by convincing Gentile customers that some silly thing the Jews made up was "the latest fashion" and that the customer would be looked upon as out of style and behind the times if they didn't purchase the latest "fashion trend" that the Jews were selling.
Neckties evolved as a means of selling tiny scraps of material that were too narrow to be useful for any practical purpose, so the Jews concocted the idea of taking these narrow strips of useless material and making them into a sort of decorative ribbon-like thing to be worn around the neck and left hanging down in front. The Jewish merchants would get their wives to sew the scraps of fabric remnants into what would evolve into the necktie, and then the merchants would wear them in their own shops in front of their customers who would notice them and ask what they were.
"Oh, this? This is a cravat. It's the latest fashion in France" (or whatever country the customer wasn't in). Everyone there is wearing them!"
And after telling their customer about how it was made from the "finest material of the highest quality, very expensive because it is so precious and rare," the Jewish merchant would suggest the customer try one on. "There, you see! I sold one just like this to Lord Bottomsworth only last week!"

You're right. I'm starting a program to drop Kanye West CDs in the world's conflict and trouble spots. I think about ten thousand plays of Heartless and a couple episodes of Keeping up with the Kardashians will fix Ebola.
