Is it just another biscuit/cookie difference in dialect, or is there a substantial difference in how they're made?

Ordered a takeaway and it took a very long time to arrive. The food was not great at all and very expensive for what you got. The chips were in every dish and also they didn't taste exactly great they refused to swap them to salad. Just go to normal kebab house is far better. I will never order from...

@previous (H)I have never heard them called "donairs", at least in this area. I've heard them called Gyros, and in Dearborn they have the Shawarmas which are basically the same thing. I don't know what you're getting so angry about here. Yeesh.

In the mid east I have been to places that took those chunks of meat off stick/rod and stuffed it in2 Pita
Down the same street it was done with the special oven - Always on the street food carts its done in chunks off a rod.
Same end results just done differently and the white goop is very different country to country.
