Basically, yes. And actually, that's a very good comparison. UKIP attracts lots of right-wingers who dislike immigrants and such but see the BNP as too vulgar and working class.

fun fact people are deserting BNP to vote UKIP. UKIP try to claim they don't approve of this by saying they ban BNP members from being UKIP members. Then try to pretend there is no difference between a BNP member and a BNP voter.
