Won't do any good. They've been utterly co-opted and absorbed into Team Red. The Tea Party has become Team Red's sideshow in the same way that OWS was for Team Blue: a safe way to blow off steam without upsetting the established order.

Yeah, but it could've been much more. Instead it became a movement of fat boomers in motor scooters. Which is definitely infinitely more pleasant than what OWS devolved into.

That's the thing I kind of disagree with on the list. That maybe they could decreased once the deficit is reduced. But a Tobin tax is a much better solution.
