oh. gotcha. yeah, shagga was pretty cool. but tyrion is probably my actual favorite. i think he has the best story of anyone so far, tbh, and he is surrounded by the best characters as well.
i want to like dany so much, she's hot, she has dragons, i mean the works.
but her story is kinda dull. i mean, she's got dragons and her story is dull. how is her story dull? okay, i'll admit it's punctuated by some of the very best most thrilling scenes, but it's a slog to get to them, imo.
i can't wait for them to air a dance with dragons, that scene with you know who and the dragons is going to be the shit. but man... it's going to be a real chore getting there.
at least we get the mountain vs oberyn this season, that's going to be fantastic TV

You are right, the dany story is dull, but realistic considering the time that progressed. I mean, it sucks, but considering the dragons weren't even born at the beginning of the books, and baby dragons are pretty much useless.. A lot of her scenes do feel like filler, I just wish she would progress faster.
And oh! That fight is yet to happen? For some reason I thought that would happen before jeoffrey died, so I was disappointed and figured they cut it because budget or some other stupid reason..

and yes, that fight is going to be amazing. with as much attention as GRRM gave to describing it in the book i think they'll make a good show of it in the series. also the attack on the wall by mance rayder with giants and worgs and horned foot men is going to be fantastic as well, i can't wait for that.

I think they left him out because he was her "champion" at meereen and they wanted to give that to dario so he could be an even more heroic love interest. In the book he appears swarthy and untrustworthy and in the show he's dashing and honest. he will probably save dany's life by eating all the dates, too. Belwas was a pretty axillary character, i'm not surprised he was cut, or merged, with/for dario.

I don't think you understand the concept of fantasy, or how to form a coherent argument. A fantasy character not believing dragons exist, does not suddenly make them not exist within that world, so I am not even sure what kind of point you are trying to make.

Nobody said a character not believing in dragons makes them magically proof out of existence. A character who never saw a dragon has no reason to believe they returned because despite living in a world of magic and monsters anything isn't possible and still requires the same evidences to prove something to be truthful. The fantasy still has it's own laws within it's realms.

but laws can be broken in fiction like they never existed. even if a character has no reason to believe in aliens or magic that doesn't prohibit the author from suddenly making everyone cockroaches. i get what you are saying, but fiction doesn't need to be consistent in any way, in fact you could frame a whole story as one whole big inconsistent series of events.
like superman flying is inconsistent with the laws of gravity, but readers don't care any more than characters do: a man that can fly, okay, that doesn't mesh with the known laws of physics.
a good example in GoT are tyrion and the dragons, he doesn't believe they are back, he's not seen them, but that doesn't stop GRRM from having mellisandra birth a murderous baby shadow stannis to kill renley.
