@477,469 (Killer Lettuce !!iNo3FkiZx) > I don't understand the question.
If Star Wars took place in the past, what is their present day like as in happening right now?

Uh that's a dumb question
you are asking for information from outside of the setting of a fictional film franchise universe
You decide OP
make up whatever is going on in this far away galaxy and there you have it

May not really be a dumb question. We the public does not have access to the database -
details and designs about the characters, creatures, languages, locations (planetary systems, planets, moons, cities and towns), vehicles, and weapons found in the fictional universe of Star Wars. Before creation of the Holocron, story synopses and glossary details about Star Wars were maintained in black binders referred to as bibles
Present day may be part of Holocron.
> make up whatever is going on in this far away galaxy and there you have it
Not a bad idea cause Anon could do this and make a Spec Script and see if he could sell Disney on it.
"In addition to being an archive for information that has already been published, the Holocron is a tool to track everything that is currently in development. Information is entered at the earliest stages, so there is information about products that won't be released until years later. It is also used to store unpublished reference information."

I don't need to make something up when there's a full blown expanded universe consisting of video games and books.

Except you can have fun playing those games and paying for them
And you also could make something up and become part of Star Wars and make big bucks and continue to play games

The Star Wars subject is something I paid close attention to as a business for several independent reasons. One that has affected my life in profound ways.
That aside - I paid close attention to Disney's offer to buy Lucas out. And Holocron was a unique important part of the deal.
Alas I MADE a mistrake - As a Disney stock holder I was not thrilled with seeing Disney pay $4 Billion bucks. 1/2 in cash 1/2 in stock.
I said for me not going to buy any more Disney - Big Mistrake huge Mistrake - Georges $2 Billion in Stock has becum 4 Billion - So sure stock I have held has doubled and that is just 2 years.
So my stock on hand has doubled as well - Alas IF I had bought more then I wood have More -
And if you wasted your tyme reading my ritting? Sorry
