Protip: Even if you think what you wrote is shit... Don't invite your readers to confirm that suspicion.
George R. R. Martin's series of fantasy novels: "I think I write overly violent and pointlessly stupid scenes that drag on too long with annoying, drawn-out dialogue and imaginary scenes maybe about people getting murdered and possibly tits" didn't get picked up by HBO. His other series about dragons and women with tits made it big.
