This video is mostly funny.
You seem to finally be getting the hang of it. Programming for fun is rewarding; occasionally you might do something useful. Programming for a job is different; you will need to convince people that what you are doing is cutting edge and maybe show them proof. (You might need some skill with manipulating statistics or at least Excel tables here.) Learning to program via the Internet is virtually as impossible as forming an informed opinion about anything on Reddit; someone is always there willing to give you a lengthy explanation about why you're wrong.
PS Don't take up LISP as a hobby. It will only kill your soul.
