The tablet just flies now -- amazing how much difference crapware makes in the user experience. It's sad that Android has become the new Windows in that regard. Unless you buy a Nexus device youre stuck with a dozen shit apps that you can't uninstall. @previous (Green)

So much this. The same reason I put a clean Windows version on (the hardly used Windows side of) my new PC and then installed the vendor-specific drivers myself. Being able put a clean, no-nonsense OS that isn't cluttered with crapware on your device feels good; some of that crapware makes the user experience better for some people I would guess, but it's really a lowest common denominator game. If you know what you are doing, it's so much better to just have the crapware gone and out of the way.
