Their members have said some very predjudiced things. I'll find citations later, but I can recall: racism, sexism, and homophobia.
Immigration is certainly something that should be looked at. And maybe our relationship with Europe too. But I cannot support a party with such strong undercurrents of bigotry.

I won't be voting for them because of policies like ending the ban on handguns, leaving the EU, capital punishment, and the fact the rest of their policies are shallow populist crap. They're a party filled with racist, homophobic idiots that would say anything to get elected. Not all of them, obviously, but they're like the Tory party on crack. Or BNP-lite.

They only see the popularity they do because a lot of Tories are alienated by Cameron. The Tories lost a lot of support with Cameron's position on the EU and on gay marriage particularly. It's no wonder UKIP has the highest support in the 65+ age bracket and among the lowest in 18-24, lol.

That's why I like the Greens; they're 'soft eurosceptics' and support reform of our EU membership without a complete exit. That seems like the most sensible stance, to me. Don't really agree with their immigration policies, though.

I remember after the EU debate both Clegg's and Farage's figures were criticised. Weird to see UKIP's promotional stuff not mention that 75% is a estimate.
