I think a lot of people may not get the reference these days, considering the Ethiopian famine is older than either of us. Probably more apt for North Korean cuisine these days.

The real real reason, though, is that it looks like poop on a tortilla. I mean, I'm sure it tastes good but the presentation is lacking. Also I don't like onions.

refried beans, somekind of stewed meat, greens, creamed corn...

i dont see any poop, though creamed corn is an abomination

also, those are most likely diced turnip roots, if your talking about what i think your talking about

Just did a Google Image search on Ethiopian Foods

I really luv this food but admit that the images and there are MANY MANY and NONE NOT ONE look appetizing. Many kinds of WATT WATT WATT

Now about not liking onions. A great lesson I learned from my Russian Grandmother. I told her I did not care for Squash. Next meal she prepared had a side dish of a crunchy very tasty veggy.

Learned I really loved squash but of course it needed a skilled grandmother to show me the way.

So have you tried beer battered Onion Rings.

Ur alive. Waz wondering if you were under a bridge or? In USA fast food places use frozen chopped up and formed Onions to make rings. Horrible just Horrid.

Now it difficult to find the real thing - Lucky you

not really.
any place that serves onion rings uses intact ring in onion rings

Syntax replied with this 12 years ago, 57 minutes later, 15 hours after the original post[^] [v] #474,626

@previous (ElectronicOldBoners !iH0dKz0pn2)

A ring yes yet one could hope for intact onion - of course then rings vary in size but some genius figured out all you had to do was chop them up and form them exactly like Chicken Nuggets in2 uniform rings.

This review comparing places n reviewer did not no about the chopped and reformed rings. Smart nuff to test for real beer in the batter but not to examine wot the ring consists of.

But chicken McNuggets™ come in four different shapes! That's how you can tell its real chicken.

Syntax replied with this 12 years ago, 10 minutes later, 15 hours after the original post[^] [v] #474,630

@previous (Meta)
And I get busted cause I have not tried McNuggets. I just assumed they were all the same size.

Looking at Google images one can find boxes of McNuggets all exactly the same and other pics where there is some shape variation.

ingredients

As of October 9, 2010, the ingredients within the United States are as follows: Processed chicken meat, water, salt, sodium phosphates. Battered and breaded with bleached wheat flour, water, modified food starch, salt, spices, wheat gluten, paprika, dextrose (sugar), yeast, garlic powder, rosemary, partially hydrogenated soybean oil and cottonseed oil with mono- and diglycerides, leavening (sodium acid pyrophosphate, baking soda, ammonium bicarbonate, monocalcium phosphate), natural flavor (plant source) with extractives of paprika. Fried in vegetable oil (Canola oil, corn oil, soybean oil, hydrogenated soybean oil with TBHQ and citric acid). Dimethylpolysiloxane is added as an antifoaming agent.

CNN has revealed that the fast-food chain makes this popular menu item with the chemical preservative tBHQ, tertiary butylhydroquinone, a petroleum-based product. Mcnuggets also contain dimethylpolysiloxane, “an anti-foaming agent”

also used in Silly Putty.

Quick Google on this and the Brits get a less chemical doxed up chicken which also absorbs much less fat so is more healthy and odd about the crunch.

Well damn I washed my screen and MC has made it dirty again. Nice gimmick to get me to wash my screen
