Topic: Does Listerine desensitize your tastebuds?

It does for me. If I rinse with Listerine more than two days in a row, it desensitizes the taste buds on the front third of my tongue for days. I can't figure out why. It's not the alcohol (drinking whiskey straight doesn't do this to me), nor the essential oils in it as far as I can tell.

Does anyone else here suffer from this?

Numbing YES. Have not used it two days in a row so do not know if it lasts for days. After a use it sure does desensitize for at least one hour.
