Topic: Should I change jobs?

I'm currently working as an IT consultant for a large software company. I've only been working there 4 months and I'm already thinking of leaving; I've been offered an interview for a system administrator role for an investment bank.
The main reason I want to leave is that the job involves constant traveling. I've worked for 2 days total in my home office; the rest of the time has been working on client sites. I'd really like to be able to work a standard 9 to 5 and go home at the end of the day.
I'm also hesitant of changing jobs in case the new one is worse! Taking responsibility for a bank's computer system is quite daunting, and I can imagine being shouted at by angry investment bankers when the system crashes and they miss out on (whatever it is that they do).
I'd love to hear from people who are also thinking of leaving their current job, or have changed jobs in the past.

Sysadmin work is awesome bro.

It isn't that bad, if you are qualified to be a Sysadmin I am sure you know that the investment bank network will be built for redundancy and your clients should almost never experience downtime, even when problems arise. Also, people are a lot more understanding than you would think as long as they have confidence in you. I had an off-site office building go down last month because ice in the ground raped the shit out of their fiber lines. No one freaked out, they knew I was on that shit. Redundancy is your friend. I got them running on a cable connection and using web services to interface with shit they needed back on our home domain in a couple hours.
You hate your current job and traveling sucks, go for it. The only thing that concerns me is your attitude.

Responsibility should not equate to "worse" in your mind man.

The main reason I want to leave is that the job involves constant traveling. I've battled for 2 days total in my home town; the rest of the time has been fighting monsters on the way to Cornelia. I'd really like to be able to work a standard 9 to 5 and go home at the end of the day.
