I've met Paul Stanley of KISS dozens of times, most recently during my civil lawsuit against Paul Stanley of KISS for sexually abusing me as a boy between the ages of 8 and 12.
im acquainted with some notable jazz musicians
i met george lopez when i was a kid
ive met some other musicians and artists at events that's all
i was always jealous of my friends who got to hang out with dave eggers because they were involved in some writing shit in the city whatever
the notion of 'celebrity' is retarded as fuck

I also met Art Garfunkel while I was falsely impersonating a police officer and trying to extort bribes from people. I was just trying to plant drugs on him but it turned out he was carrying a dead teenage girl in his trunk. He's a hugely generous man, I really respect him for going above and beyond with the hush money.

The Dudesons (skated with them in Belgrade), Tony Hawk, Sandro Diaz, Bam Margera, Iouri Podlatczikow (this years Olympic snowboard pipe gold medalist)...
From famous people I'm most proud of meeting David Hasslehoff, probably the most awkward time of my life haha. Also met Eve (the rapper) and Maximillion Cooper (organizer of the notorious Gumball 3000 rally) and some other.

I don't remember who I've met except for this one girl, Jasmine Villegas, who I gave up because she was too cool haha. Also turned into a bitch over time, but we would talk on the phone everyday for a while.

I helped Summer Glau recompile a Linux Kernel to help beta test Trusty Tahr.
No, sorry. That was a fever dream. I've never met anyone noteworthy unless you count scholarly pursuits.

I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.
There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

oh yeah, i met ross perot. i found his offices a little creepy with all the dozens of life sized statues of bronze children. nice guy, but at one point he pointed at the ceiling and said, "what is that?"
One of his employees said, "that's a smoke detector, sir."
it was slightly uncomfortable for everyone, as it was apparent it was the beginnings of either dementia or Alzheimers.
but i was glad to meet him nonetheless.

Met a bunch while working as Exec at MCA/Universal (work had nothing to do with celebs)
One that always comes to mind - Needed to fill out a police report re theft on my ATM account & bank requested I do that.
In person at Culver City Police dept just b4 Christmas.
Down the hall way comes Sammy Davis Jr who is shaking the hands of anyone he meets on the way. Gets to me so I ask er Why.
His story: Few years b4 he was at a party down the street at MGM Studios and had to much to drink and few blocks away Culver City cops stop him and instead of arresting him - They park his car back at MGM and then take him home to Beverley Hills. Back in dark ages Cops did this to famous people.
So he said he felt he needed to thank the police and ever year he made his annual trip to the police station to do just that.
And as a kiddlet around 4 years old I was forced to say hello to Lucille Ball. Ice cream store in Hollywood - Hated just hated that - from then On I avoided saying hello to any Celeb and have one regret re Whoopie Goldberg
