I was looking to apply to be a writer at our schools monthly newspaper. However they required you to interview with them. This is super problematic as like steven I am an introvert. I asked them if I could do the interview over skype since face to face interviews are triggering.
They were really confused as they thought that I wasnt living near campus when I was. They told me this was entirely unnecessary and that I should not need to be accomodated in this way. Its not like a vast majority of interviews are conducted online anyway.

Funny enough I got hired for two jobs with only phone interviews. I didn't even ask for it, it's just how they did it.

"Triggering" has now been debased like the words "autistic" and "trolling" have. It used to mean something about aggravating PTSD but now it just means "I don't like that!".

I agree, and it really bothers me. I fight abouit that on Jezeel and Shakesville freqquently.
Oh, and I've been told that trans women are triggered by their own genitalia, but that females who have been raped or molested, should not/can not be triggered by seeing penises, if they are attached to women.
