These days, kinda! I've noticed a lot of up and coming artists are coming up with really cool new ideas and only taking in commissions that are pretty goddamn unique.
I have a lot of other ideas too but I wanted to see if this particular builder would go for this particular idea. They didn't, which is cool with me!

Yeah, it depends on the builder, but they really do have to decide what they make.
People who make crappy ones kinda don't, because there's not as much demand for their work, but people who make good fursuits get lots of interest and they can't just make them all.

Theoretically that could work, but what makes this whole thing kinda cool to begin with is that no two are exactly alike. People don't want to be an exact copy of someone else, even if it kinda seems that way sometimes.
