Yes I would. I use the word female.

What does that even mean?

I guess it means that it's assholish to use the word female instead of woman.

Its a social construct.

No, they're clearly verbs.

@471,759 (kook !!32zdfdzi+)
I thought about it and it is slightly dehumanizing. "I'm seeing a nice female" vs. "I'm seeing a nice woman": since female could be a female of any species, but "woman" is, specifically a human female.
@471,761 (kook !!32zdfdzi+)
All of it. Well, not entirely social but it's an overwrought mess of biology and social constructs. Amoebæ have the right idea with sex and gender.

I use the term to denote a person who has never had a penis.

Were you referring to gender being a social construct?

What about hermaphrodites?

i think he means using it in the context, "quit being such a female and man up you sissy."
see how using it this way specifically is insulting even without the tacked on gender qualifier?
quit being a female, or you're being a female, or what a female, could be taken to be as insulting as
quit being a bitch, or you're being a bitch, or what a bitch.
or quit being a weak subservient individual overly concerned with your vagina.

they all mean the same thing when you say it like that

yeah, woman is a much less charged word than female

But if you don't call them female, you're not acknowledging them as womyn born womyn and you're implicitly casting doubt on their genitalia and chromosomes.

other people's gender doesn't really effect you in any way, i don't know why people worry so much about other people's genitalia
like it's somehow going to be relevant and have some kind of major impact on how
you live your life

is it some kind of obsessive mental disorder? i don't fucking get it

Anyway, it does sound a bit odd. It just sounds so... Clinical and detached. At least to me.

I would be far more worried about someone who used "female" as anything other than a noun. It is a noun. How would you? Yeah.
