Dear diary,
So, my girlfriend thinks I'm a "narcissist through and through", and a sociopath. That I'm fake, devoid of real love, and she fears if I don't get what I feel I'm entitled to, I'll become a monster of sorts. This is the conclusion that almost everyone comes to upon really getting to know me. That I'm completely self interested, that I don't really understand consequences, and that I'm entitled as fuck. Also, I'm a whiny faggot.
I honestly don't think I'm a sociopath, or a narcissist, but everyone else seems to think I am. Even when I try to do good, it's met with the assumption that I have some alterior motif, I don't know what to do.
I know all of you hate me/think I'm a faggot, but I'm seriously losing everyone I attach to with my faggotry, and it needs to stop.

Huh. Sounds like your're girlfriend is spitting a lot of truth at you. I'd be wary of types like that. They can be a pain to manipulate for fun. I'd stick to shallow girls who are unsure of themselves and have eating disorders and/or drug problems -- they are way more easy to manipulate in order to make yourself feel superior.

Also, it's the narcissistic bit that bothers me the most, if I was just compassionless, and predatory, that'd be workable, and maybe even an advantage, but I'm not. I need love, even crave it, and adoration, and attention. And I vacuum it up, and immediately need more, I'm never satisfied, no matter how much I get, I will always want more, I am unpleasable. I feel like I haven't advanced emotionally since I was like 11.

I don't know, there's something satisfying about having someone assume the worst of you, and still love you. Maybe it's real love on my part, and a wanting to belong, or maybe it's some power thing. Could be either.

Okay, that actually makes sense, but it's usually something silly -- Some selfish tendency about wanting the last slice of pizza or leaving your socks on the floor. Someone knows you have a tendency to do some random little thing and forgives you for it because they like you more than your little flaw. It doesn't usually mean that the other person will milk you for attention and affection while showing love/hate/anger/compassion/whatever it takes to get you to show it. "Assuming the worst" doesn't usually mean "sociopathic antics" for most people.

Well, seeing a love that doesnt need to be loved back, it'a a bit humbling, but at the same time a huge ego boost. Ie I'm so great I dont even need to love aperson for them to love me, just being around is good enough. I also feel jealousy because I would never be able to do that, I don't have that in me.
