It's just little stumbles and rough patches. Areas that seem to be hard to reach with a razor blade and I cannot go over the same area too many times without cutting.

uh get a sharper razor or apply more shaving creme or something but you are doing it wrong if you have patches and 'stumbles'

what kind of suggestion were you expecting 'tweeze them out individually' 'run it over with a hair zapper' or 'use nair' because those are bad ideas

Pull the skin in the trouble area taut and away from its natural position, shave sideways, up, diagonal or whatever direction you need to get it. You'll quickly remember the shaving patterns to get a smooth shave every time. I shave down first, then apply more cream and go up etc.

Try shaving first with the grain and then, afterwards, against the grain. This should render your the patch of skin in question completely smooth. Be sure to apply either an alcohol based aftershave or some rubbing alcohol afterwards to mitigate razor burn. Needless to say, you should be using a new razor and rinse it frequently.
Also, I personally find a one blade razor (Bic sensitive) to cause fewer cuts and irritation than the fashionable 3/4/5 blade razors. Your mileage may vary but I suggest you try it.

These work. You may have to make faces in the mirror to get your skin to stretch right. Longer hairs come off when you shave with the direction of hair growth. You probably shouldn't need to shave against the grain (direction of hair growth), but guys have different growth rates and thicknesses of facial hair - Sometimes a light pass against the grain gets those patches that shaving with it didn't..

But yeah, sharper razor, use more shaving soap/cream, shave right after/while showering, these have been known to work. I shave with a single bade razor and shaving soap I work into a froth in an old coffee mug. It works great as long as I have a sharp blade!
