It's actually quite sad cause Alfred Sloan's GM division system was just beautiful. A car for every budget and a clear, defined, brand hierarchy. It's a shame it ended with the only difference between divisions being the badge and grille.

My grandfather was a Buick man, yet he could not stand any of the new Buicks of the new Millenium. He stuck with a burgundy Roadmaster until the day he died, and he had a well-kept Grand National (not a GNX, sadly) in the garage that we were never allowed to touch until his very final years ;_;
And yes, it was an LT1 Roadmaster.
