If people were still able and encouraged to beat children who misbehaved we wouldn't need to make everything into a medical condition.
ADHA = Pills
Autism = Pills
Fat = Pills
Obese = Pills
Sexual deviant = Pills
Depressed = Pills
It's all a slippery slope, they will put the unemployed on pills and call it after the name of the quack who made it a medical condition. A good beating would sort all those problems out. liberalism, now that's something that needs a beating.

Yes, beating the autism out of children is a great idea. And if ADHD were just a behavior problem, there wouldn't be adults struggling to cope with ADHD. I also don't know any doctors or parents that give pills to children for obesity.

Of course it's a medical condition. What I can't stand are the fatasses who claim that it's NOT a medical condition and think it's perfectly fine to be obese. Doctors almost ALWAYS recommend healthy diet, exercise, and other lifestyle changes to deal with the condition. They rarely recommend appetite suppressants and surgeries except in the most extreme cases and NEVER to children.

it's in the multiple hundreds of dollars. Probably close to a grand when it's all said and done, that's with primary care physician visits, psychologist, psychiatrist (if you want the meds, although these days maybe the primary care doctor can prescribe this) and any follow ups or cognitive behavioral therapy that's recommended.
