Yeah, I've known some girls who have done this. It generally doesn't work out well. The guy gets annoyed about the pretend melodrama. The girl get annoyed about the lack of melodrama. If it isn't happening, just say you missed a cycle or two and got really worried. Everyone will be relieved, and then you can go your own ways and hate each other - or not. It would be better if you didn't, but that's all up to you. Whatever. Welcome to life: do what you like.
