Why does it seem like we're nearing the start of a third world war?
Such a war would feel absolutely weird with the Germans as the Allies.

Why would it feel weird? Germany hasn't been WWII's Germany since you were alive, probably.
All of the young Germans I've met have been so apologetic and so eager to rectify like the image of Germany. It's… Cute!

I guess it just feels weird because the Germans were seen as the enemies during World War I and World War II that now they switch ideas to become the good guys.
