It seems unlikely that bots would single out those threads all the time. Those threads have probably been linked on another larger forum, or a website.

You're right, it's probably people sent here from Google.
I'm surprised it got so high on Google. I thought Google's PageRank system ranked pages based on how many other pages linked to them and as far as I know, no one's linked to that thread.

@previous (Meta)I thought at first the result was because I was logged into my Google account, but I tried it on a different browser and got the same result. Then I switched IPs (same general area) and tried again. Then I proxied out and tried a different (the nuke all cookies remember nothing) browser. This (see pic) is the best I've got on that search. Still the third fucking result. WOW! No wonder the MC userbase isn't growing...
EDIT: Shit, I used different search terms because I'm a moron and mixed it up. Whatever. I blame the gin. I think Ks has a point in that a larger website (perhaps Google) has picked up our humble thread about offing oneself and interpreted it as something serious rather than the rantings of a bunch of bored and autistic Internet denizens complaining at each other on a BBS.
