hmm, i also said that somone else had a better understanding of the material than i did and that i was going to be forced to reevaluate my opinion based on a more thoughtful interpretation of the source material.

i also believe a guaranteed minimum income of 20k a year would be cheaper and more effective than our current welfare system, but i have zero evidence, no expert opinions to cite, and only think it's true becuase in my gut it feels like a great idea.
but i don't go around bashing welfare and claiming a guaranteed minimum income is actually better, would fix anything, or is economically even viable. even though i
really think it's a great solution!
not only that, but any kind of real proof that it's a bad idea would likely factor into my opinion and i might actually change my mind.
i don't
have to believe something forever and always despite evidence to the contrary. however, there are many people around here who do exactly that and they won't shut up about homosexuals, transexuals, circumcision, psychiatry or any other god damn thing they think they know everything about but can only discuss in vague laymans terms.
