Here in the midwest, disobedient children get taken into the bathroom to get disciplined. It's just how we do it. Plus, I'd never leave a kid alone in the car, especially in the summer. Just doesn't seem right, just rather get the spanking and get it over with instead of being isolated for minutes which seems like hours to a child.
