The guys should just set it up to fund a charity and detach himself from it. I can respect the developer's decision to want away from the game and all the bullshit it brings, but to waste that potential stream of income that could do so much good is pure bullshit. That kind of money could change a lot of lives...

vietnamese can be very, very prideful. If he thought the game was silly to begin with, and then got famous (and then rich) for something he's embarrassed by then i can see why he'd pull the app. If he really think everyone hates it and thinks it's shit and he's a bad coder because of it, then yeah. A prideful asian would do it to save face. An american programmer i can see rolling in his own filth and retiring off of it.
But we sell out.
