A little. The picks for the index and middle finger throw me off a bit. I can make it sound ok but you cannot be a mediocre banjo player. It is too ubforgiving of an instrument to be mediocre.

I don't own a banjo. I do like to go into the acoustic room at guitar center and play the banjo as obnoxious as possible to piss off the people playing acoustics.
