Actually, my political ideology doesn't fit in the left-right spectrum. I find both major political parties to be obnoxious and authoritarian.

CO2 levels are rising and I'm sure humans are behind some if not most of it but I think the benefits of industrial civilization far outweigh any climate change that might result. Also climate change might have unforseen good effects: it can't all be bad.

When Obama, Al Gore, the UN bureaucrats, world leaders, Hollywood celebrities, etc, give up their limos, mansions, and jets I'll think about reducing my carbon footprint.

Right on, I've bookmarked them for next year's crop (if I remember). I easy pickled some stuff this year and I'm pretty pleased with the results, I wish I had more jalapenos to pickle more stuff. I never knew pickling could be so easy. Traditional pickling is a lot more complicated.

I just threw a bunch of stuff in with the jalapenos (onions, carrots, banana peppers etc).
