yeah, but in the south we hardly even use all-weather tires, let alone tires that handle ice. i can see how 1" would be undrivable for most people in the south who have zero experience with ice. i don't even keep a window scraper in my car that's how little winter weather we usually get. i don't even own a pair of gloves or a winter hat. i do think the south handles the winter cold better than yankees handle summer heat though. Yankees get up over 95 degrees and they start dying from heat stroke. i'd like to see new york hit 114 degrees and their only problem be traffic accidents.

We're not that much better when it comes to snow driving. We're arrogant and try to do almost the speed limit with our old-ass all-season tires. Which is why we get shit like this.
