i'm not sure i like anyone from pyke. it's all salt this and drown that sow not. Victarion is probably my favorite of them, but only because he does crazy stuff. The other brother is crazy too, the one that found the horn, Euron or something. He's nuts too.

I hated the greyjoys till book 3, I found them feckless and boring, and of no threat. With victarion and euron though, they are a threat, and obviously victarion is planning to doublecross his brother anyway.

I like how book 5 left things, it seems finally things are happening. Aegon and Jon connington have invaded westeros, dany is finally getting her khalasar back plus the mercenaries, and Stannis is about to attack winterfell (if I'm remembering right). if only term could write faster.

feckless is a good word for them. Impotent is how i'd describe them. They couldn't even hold Moat Cailin when it was under attack, and it was supposed to be hard as fuck to capture. They certainly couldn't hold winterfell. And their method of attack, retreat, attack and raiding powerless villages and never facing a foe out right shows how cowardly they really are. I kinda see all the Greyjoys as one big giant representation of theon. or maybe theon is all the greyjoys in microcosm. either way, both lack balls, neither can sow, all they can do is talk. when it comes time for action there's just no penis there.
they're all bluster. words are wind. i don't see how they can't think as soon as the big dogs are done fighting they aren't going to saunter over and eat the little dog.
how about that ramsay bolton though. i love that dude, he just keeps outdoing himself. i think he'll survive the whole series.
