I suppose all religions claims are weird (the cracker and wine are literally the body and blood of Christ in Catholicism) but there's something different about getting your own planet or having complete control over matter, energy, space, and time.

My favorite part of Mormonism is the secret crypto-Masonic temple ceremonies. Also I find temple garments fascinating. Neither are featured in Mormon ad campaigns, though.

It is oddly fascinating learning about some of the bizarre things people truly believe. Ultimately it's a little depressing though, they indoctrinate kids with that shit. I've lurked exmormon, exjw, etc forums before. It can be a great way to get some insight. I think it's neat to read about people coming to the realization that it's all bullshit, they've been lied to. I particularly enjoy learning what exactly brought them to that realization. Many of the religions maliciously twist a lot facts/science and feed pure bs to loyal, trusting, followers. When people finally figure that out the sense of awakening they feel can't be fully articulated, they see everything for how it truly is for the first time. For people raised in those religions it has to be a shattering experience. A lot of them lose their family's over not believing anymore. :/

It doesn't matter who wins the war dreamworks. What matters is that the war ends. I read in some book I picked up that the thalmor want the war to continue. Think about it, if the empire are at war, they are weakened, they're wasting their resources on a pointless civil war. Of course, it would be better for Skyrim if they joined the empire, but even if the stormcloaks win, it will still give an advantage rather than just being at war.
