In all honesty it depends. If I was a victim and the perpetrator killed me out of some mental disease I would want him treated so they might have a normal life and help prevent others from making the same mistake. If it was someone who killed me out of hatred or just to see what killing was like I would like to die with the knowledge when they are caught and convicted, they have to get up every day knowing that the state will execute them soon.
