How to solve it. Make the max. wage of a CEO 5 times the minimal wage in his company. Problem solved.
Saw that implemented in a company in Sweden, works like a charm.

It really should be 50 times the minimum wage within the company. The CEOs would be able to relate to those in the lower rungs, perhaps take them out to drink or go golf.

Many CEOs make a nominal $1/year, so this misses the point.
So, now we are including benefits, stock options, bonuses, and anything else right?
Okay, so now these executives work as self-employed business consultants, do you go after that as well? Can people not privately own a company?
This ignores that: people can move to another area that will pay them their market value; the people doing the paying out (shareholders) are given a free pass while a skilled business executive who is talented enough to demand a high price is limited.
Why does everyone go after highly-paid workers, and executives, while ignoring that they are selling a service, while the people who own wealth outright are not addressed? Even Marx would consider executives, lawyers, doctors, engineers, and skilled professions to be on the high end of the "proletariat", and was intelligent enough to focus on the people who actually had the real wealth.

That's a shitty minimum wage. Our minimum wage here at the current exchange rate is USD $11.40 and it's hopefully going to be raised to what's called a living wage which is more like USD $15.25
Because fuck that chump change, I admire the people who work hard doing menial jobs for that sort of money.

My comment wasn't about public companies in the hands of shareholders, my idea of a CEO was the top dog of the business, with no-one above him a.k.a. the top earner. So yeah, limiting the top earners income is what I meant.
That way you spread the wealth even across the company. Same goes for bonuses and everything else, a single bonus can't be higher than 5 times the lowest bonus within the company etc... saw it work really well.

American McWalter thinks that the maximum McBurger production is too low.
