Yeah. Dude seems legit. He's more worried about poverty than he is about homosexual sex, which is just crazy these days for a religious leader. Also he hasn't said one thing about excluding anyone, even atheists, from gods love.
No hating people?
Helping the poor?
Encouraging affordable healthcare for everyone?
I know it's highly irregular, but I like the new direction.
