I'm actually totally shocked. I had a massively wonderful (grad. student at a university that has a thriving medical school) healthcare plan. I went in for a physical. They told me that I should complain about something otherwise it would be really expensive. "Isn't preventive medicine sort of important?" "Oh yes, you should..." "A PHYSICAL isn't covered??" "No" "Wait, what? Seriously WTF?"
Yeah, I'm bitter. Apparently waiting until my face is sprouting tumors is a better time to come in and wring serious money from the insurance company. Thanks.
