Ocarina of Time. Majora's Mask is a glorified expansion pack. A very good one, but is still just an expansion pack.

The music in OOT is part of the beauty of the game.
Majora's mask is a bunch of rehashes of those songs.
Not to mention the giants look like something a kindergarten child would draw. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9-4zppf5NM&feature=related

It's an rpg. The storytelling is epic, the characters are well developed and easy to get attached to, and the score is amazing.

Nintendo is waiting for 2012 to release MM because MM was originally released after Y2K incident.

The GTA series has had it's ups and downs. GTA IV was annoying and boring, but San Andreas was fucking awesome. I like sandbox games anyhow though so I'm slightly biased.

How is GTA not a sandbox game? You have an open world where you can interact with almost everything. Seems pretty sandbox to me. They even use the term "Grand Theft Auto clone" to describe sandbox games...

An open world is a type of video game level design concept where a player can freely roam a virtual world.
The term is sometimes used interchangeably with "sandbox" and "free-roaming"; however, the terms open world and free-roaming describe the game environment itself and allude more to the absence of artificial barriers, in contrast to the invisible walls and loading screens that are common in linear level designs. The term sandbox refers more to the mechanics of a game and how, as in a physical sandbox, the user is entertained by his ability to play creatively, boundless of artificial structural constraints, and with there being "no right way" of playing the game.

Yeah but Master Quest is what Ura Zelda turned into. Zelda Gaiden/Majora's Mask was always intended as a standalone game.

No, they were both meant to be expansions for the 64DD, you really should research this bro.

In an interview with Japanese game magazine Famitsu Weekly, Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed once and for all that the cartridge-based Zelda Gaiden and the long talked-about 64DD Ura-Zelda are two separate projects. When we mentioned the existence of Ura-Zelda earlier some were confused by the term. Let's try to explain: When Nintendo first announced the already released Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, it was planning to make the game the 64DD disk drive's flagship title. But hardware delays and a lack of third party support forced Nintendo to convert Ocarina of Time to a cartridge game and to start work on a second, add-on adventure for the 64DD. Dubbed "Ura-Zelda" (Japanese for "Another Zelda"), the 64DD adventure is said to enable gamers to revisit areas and dungeons of Ocarina of Time and experience new adventures in familiar surroundings. Surprisingly this and Gaiden are two entirely separate games. source
They eventually split, but at one time they were a single project.

@63,732 (Nexus !jNexusRe/.) You are reading it wrong. > the 64DD adventure is said to enable gamers to revisit areas and dungeons of Ocarina of Time and experience new adventures in familiar surroundings
Ocarina of Time was originally supposed to be released for the 64DD, but then they decided to just have it as a cartridge. After, they still wanted at least one Zelda on 64DD so they began work on what would be Master Quest/Ura Zelda. Hence, "ADD-ON"! Master Quest was a CD expansion that could ONLY be played with an Ocarina of Time cartridge. > Surprisingly this and Gaiden are two entirely separate games.
Nintendo demanded an actual sequel for Ocarina of Time to be released within the next year, which is when they started on Majora's Mask/Zelda Gaiden. They were always separate. Deal with this.
