Okay, soooo there's this girl, and she's like the model for the affordable care act web page, or something, anywho, people are like, "ur a bitch supportin bama", but turns out, she's just a stock photo, and people that are angry at her, are kind of dumb. Who know?

NPR had an awesome interview with a dumb girl who is 25, and she was talking about how healthy she is and how she doesn't want insurance and that she was going to plan on just paying the fine and not getting insurance. Then she got Kidney Stones and was in the Hospital for a few days, had a couple of procedures, and was given a 15 thousand dollar bill (which she called astronomical) and then said she would break down and get insurance now that she sees how unaffordable it is to go it alone. She then said she decided the affordable care act isn't all that bad.
tl;dr it's all fun and games until you have a medical problem that bankrupts you.
