Consider this.
Wayyyy back early on I ended up with Google stock which was sorta given 2me in lieu of payment for a very small project. Odd thing is I was making my regular Qualcomm wage so I never understood that stock but hey it was paper. On n off I have bought Google but lost control of it and later got it back. Harvard Med had it for a couple of years.
So Google already no's my home address and more which is cool with me given how much that stock has skyrocketed in value.

Of course it is owned by Google. Its just that Google C's the Billion accounts on Facebook and wants some of that kind of action ergo Google+

I was under the impression that although anyone can upload a video file to Youtube, there is a time limit unless you have a Google account?

While the IE thing wasn't the only reason for the antitrust lawsuit, it was a major part.
The last three Android devices I've bought have only come with the default Android browser (it used to be called just "Browser" now it's mobile Chrome, though some manufacturers put their own custom browser in as well), and iOS devices only come with Safari preinstalled, so do Macs.
Google is an interesting beast. They're far more sinister than Micro$oft ever is or was, yet they have evaded almost all negative government attention. No one complains that a Chromebook literally only runs Chrome as a browser and is more integrated with Google services than Windows is with MS services. Maybe because Android and Chrome are (more or less) open-source and free? The Google business model of giving top-quality stuff away and making money only on ads is beautiful. They will own computing in this decade, and possibly the next too.
I just can't believe that web browsers used to be software you had to actually buy.
Really, though, Apple, Google, and Microsoft should not be forced to offer competing browsers on their devices.
