I actually quite like it. Granted, I have had a Google+ account for a while, so it didn't really affect me that much. I quite like the change. You can post URLs and long walls of text now. There are only two things I don't really like, and they're aren't that big of ad deal. One, I don't really like having my comments posted on my Google+ account by default. And the other complain is that I don't really like not having New Comments as the default view. Other than that, I give this update a 9/10, as it actually improved the site tremendously.

I must agree, some of the changes made to the comments system are quite good, but how do you cite someone's moniker now?
I also deleted my extra unused Google+ pages finally so I now only have one.
