Much as TV shows Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad are today.
It makes me sad realizing that there will never come a time when wrestling becomes as popular as it was to be widely talked about as the aforementioned programs.

i think it's going to be hard to sell wrestling after what Vince McMahon (or whoever dude is) has done to it. it's got a hardcore following though.
hard for me to take it seriously as a sport. but then again i believe that things like cheerleading and choreographed dancing are sports. they are, but... it's not like a competitive sport. it's highly physical and requires lots of training, but, it's... they're not really clotheslining people in the windpipe for anything but show.
sometimes the dudes even, like, stand up and then just wait to get hit again pretending to be dazed.

Wrestling may need to go through INTENSE kayfabe to repair itself, like a decade or so.
Which seems to be what WWE is doing currently a part of the unofficially labeled reality era where the lines between reality and kayfabe get blurred.
