The HIV rate is apparently rising (400% increase between 1997 and 2007) because of unsafe sex/promiscuity, people not getting tested (thousands apparently unaware of their HIV+ status) and people thinking there's a cure.
Check out the guy infected by his girlfriend (with her knowledge), the 42-year-old facing death after decades of treatment, the 50-year old infected by her husband and the guy with drug-resistant HIV shocked that anyone could believe having HIV is just about taking a pill. That's not including all the others too scared to show their faces because of stigma/hostility.

why would the woman with a husband care that he's circumcised? shouldn't their monogamy perfectly shield them from exposure?
unless she's happy her cheating husband is less likely to contract it and give it to her i don't get this one.

You don't seem to understand the point of the ad. The purpose is to make MEN volunteer to get circumcised out of fear women might reject them if they don't.
