Wake up much earlier than I want to. Eat breakfast. Go to work. Flirt with the cute girl who works with me. Sit at my desk and pretend to work for 3-4 hours. Leave for lunch. Get back 45 minutes later. Pretend to work until 5 pm. Leave work, head home. Do any miscellaneous errands (laundry, shopping, etc.) Come home and make dinner. Watch tv shows on my laptop or play mindless video games until it's 10:30-ish. Get ready for bed. Rinse and repeat. On Fridays I cash a check after work and then head out to hang out with friends or draft MTG. I really should apply for new jobs since this one is only temporary but I am so tired when I get home on weekdays that I don't give a shit, and on weekends I just want to veg out and do nothing. Oh, and I have a $200,000 piece of paper on my wall that says I'm qualified to be hired for not much money to do work I have 0 interest in.
Oh I forgot to mention my student loan payments start coming due pretty soon.

I have a B.A. in Philosophy which is what I was/am interested in. There are essentially no non-academic jobs that make heavy use of philosophy. The closest is law, but I have no interest of going into law. Academic jobs are incredibly hard to come by, and I'd need to get a Phd. to even meet the minimum requirements for an academic job. The risk/reward calculus isn't in my favor for that path. Any job I get will be something I'm not really interested in and at best tangentially related to my studies.

Yeah I have some money saved up. I aim to pay off one of my smaller loans soon, and then I just have one big one to deal with. IBR should mean that I don't get too hammered by the repayments, but that's still money I will not have to spend at the end of each month. In theory this mortgaging of my future will pay off. We'll see about that.
